Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer (Permanent Position} Location: Manchester My clients are currently looking for an Engineer with experience in flood risk assessment and drainage infrastructure design, to assist in dealing with an increase in workload and the further development and expansion of the team and the Firm. Experience of detailed drainage design (Section 104), road design (Section 38 & 278}, and a working knowledge of PDS or Civils 3D would be advantageous but not essential. - Ability to delegate work to others and act in a mentoring role to less experienced staff. - Knowledge and understanding of current technical standards and policy. - Excellent time management skills. - Good communication skills, both written and verbal. - Experience liaising with clients, design team members and consultees, including attendance at meetings. - Ability to develop and maintain client relationships. - Hold a full UK Driving Licence. In return they offer a competitive remuneration package which includes the following rewards and benefits: - 26 days paid annual leave, comprising your birthday, 22 flexible days, and 3 days fixed over the Christmas period.
