We would also be interested in speaking with geography, geology and environmental science graduates
- Client: Environment Agency
- Hours: Monday - Friday 37 hours a week (hours are flexible)
- Location: Leeds City Centre (travelling to different sites will be required)
- Hybrid working - 2 days in the offices
- Pay - £12.58 per hour (annually £24,203)

It is crucial for this role you have a clean driving license as travelling to different sites will be required

The Environment Agency work to create better places for people and wildlife and support sustainable development.

**The role**:
The Flood Risk Administrator will be working closely with the Flood Defences team at the environment agency, offering administration support to the everyday duties of the team

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring flood defences are up to standard, carrying out procedures to ensure they meet set criteria
- Producing maps
- Minute taking
- Sorting and distributing mail
- Mail inbox management
- Photocopying, filing, posting or proof-reading data
- Answering telephone calls and relaying messages

**What skills and experience we are looking for in you**:

- Knowledge and/or experience in flood risk is desirable
- Passion for flood defence is desirable
- Degree in geology, geography or environmental science
- Strong administration background
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of ArcMap GIS (desirable)
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Clean driving license (essential)
