A construction company who has won numerous regional business awards are looking to expand their field sales team in the Eastern region due to continued growth and success.
This market leading and nationwide SME supplier of equipment for sale and hire into the building and events sector are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and personable Sales and Business Development Executive to assist with new business opportunities.
This position will be based from the company's Cambridgeshire headquarters but involve working remotely in the field for the majority of the time covering East Anglia, East Midlands and the Northern Home Counties but with a focus on Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire,Essex and Northamptonshire.
Working as part of an already established and high-energy sales team, an overview of your duties and responsibilities include;
- Demonstrating excellent levels of customer service for both internal and external customers;
- Maintaining and building satisfactory relationships with customers;
- Pro-actively selling, maintaining and expanding sales to new and existing customers;
- Develop market growth through conversion of specifiers, end users to the company's range of products;
- Maintain efficient sales order entry on all products using existing CRM system
- Ensure that all targets (Sales/Call Rate/meetings) and KPI's are achieved
- Engage with end users to provide pull through of products;
- Assist in the establishment of new product development;
- Monitor customer activity and report to the MD/Sales Director accordingly;
- Provide competitor activity information when information comes to hand;
You will be a motivated salesperson either already in a field sales role or keen to progress your career by moving into more of a remote business development executive position.
Ideally, you would have sold B2B within construction / building products or related but the client is willing to train and believes it is more important that you have a 'can-do' attitude and are able to demonstrate exemplary customer service and proactive salesskills.
Ambition to progress and grow with a company through continuous learning, as well as being self-motivated and having the ability to work on your own initiative are all key personality traits of the individual we are seeking.
On offer is a salary of £25,000-£34,000 depending on experience plus an attractive commission scheme paid monthly with an estimated OTE expected of up to £15,000 a year. Also offered with the role is a car allowance and private medical care.
