Chappell Enterprises are recruiting for a **Business Development Executive**for our client based in the **Cambridge** area.
Our client are a specialist independent radio communications company. Having recently celebrated 50 years of business, they have supplied the royal household and are the first choice for two-way radio hire in the UK.
**Role Purpose**:
To manage the sales and hire process for new and existing customers.
Being a **Business Development Executive**, here are some of the tasks you will be responsible for however this list is not exhaustive:
- Achieve territory target and diversified revenue across multiple industries
- Maintain data within the CRM system, ensure it is up to date with contact details, industry sector etc
- Conversion of customer enquiries into sales
- Pro-active outbound sales activity with existing and prospective customers
- Up-sell/cross-sell to customers, appropriate to their needs
- Strengthen customer relationships through regular sales contact and engagement
- Development and delivery of focused business plans to meet targets and business objectives
- Ensure opportunities are inputted onto the CRM system with estimated close dates and probability
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the industry including changing trends, economic indicators impacting on sales and competitors.
- Ensure all telephone enquiries are answered
- Manage time to achieve the key performance indicators for the role.
- Appraise own performance and contribute towards own development of the knowledge & skills required to achieve results
**Quality of Delivery**:
- Responsible for closing all opportunities with the correct details e.g. Won, Lost
- Accurate creation of ticket on all orders on CRM system
- Manage all OFCOM licence opportunities, including the creation of licence tickets
- Ensure all orders are complete and have relevant sales paperwork attached, CRM is up to date and correct programming information is provided
**Customer**:
- Nurture existing client relationships, building relationships with well-established accounts
- Put customers and people at the heart of all activity ensuring the customers are treated as people and people as customers at all times
- Represent the company by own appearance and behaviours in line with the delivery of world class standards
- Ensure all prospective and existing customer enquiries are responded to within 60 minutes, and are aware of buy-back and part exchange offers
**Colleagues**:
- Maintain professional working relationships with colleagues
- Utilise the support available from other departments to maximum effect
**Corporate Responsibility**:
- Engage with business wide initiatives that support charity, community and socially responsible business activity.
- Ensure all enquiries are handled in line with quality procedures and company standards
**Salary**:
£22,000 - £25,000 per annum
