Location: Exeter (hybrid working 2 days on site)

**Salary**: 30k
Full time/Perm**
Our client is a leading UK wide membership body who are looking for an Event Executive to join their team in their Exeter office.This role will be responsible for supporting and delivering events of various sizes and formats in the South West area and occasionallyacross the UK.
**Duties to include**:

- Provide event logistic support for a range of events, including high-profile dinners and conferences
- Have specific responsibility for the delivery of the Annual AGM, and other internal events, as required
- Undertake venue research and recommend appropriate venues
- Manage the speaker on-boarding process for various events, including collating up-to-date bios and photos, managing speaker briefings and following up with speaker queries
- Be responsible for maintaining the Speaker Library, reporting on speaker diversity across all events
- Take the lead for specific project workstreams, e.g. delegate management
- Maintain accurate event records on the internal CRM system
- Working closely with Marketing to promote the events
- Providing accurate reporting on metric and KPIs for events, producing post-event reports.
- Timely processing of delegate bookings using the CRM system and online registration tools
- Assisting onsite at events as required
- Continuously looking for ways to improve the delegate experience across all stages of the event lifecycle

**What you need for this role**:

- Experience or talent for organising and working complex events in an efficient and methodical manner
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with diverse types of people
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal is a must
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and planning skills
- Ability to multi-task, remain calm and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to details and good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also take initiatives when the need arises
- Educated to A-level or equivalent
- Experience of using CRM systems and an understanding of standard data practices
- An understanding of social media
- Previous experience of using website content management systems would be beneficial
- Basic understanding of business and interest in current affairs would be advantageous but not essential
