Absolute IT Recruitment are delighted to be working with an FCA Approved and Regulated Fintech Start-Up based in the City of London. The Head of Infrastructure will be focused on supporting their High Volume, Low Latency Trading and Exchange environment. Youwill be joining a high-growth firm who are in the process of launching a digital asset trading platform.
The client has recently gone through a very successful funding round which will aide their growth plans for the London HQ. As part of the package they will be offering a discretionary 20-30% bonus scheme. The Head of Infrastructure (Trading and Exchange) willbe involved in trading platform strategy, DR architecture, Governance and the build out of co-lo and on-prem infrastructure.
As the Head of Infrastructure (Trading and Exchange) you’ll report into the CTO and working closely with Team leaders and Engineers who are supporting the environment at a 2nd & 3rd Line level.
The successful Head of Infrastructure (Trading and Exchange) will have the following experience:

- HFT/Low Latency experience **is essential - Ideally from a Trading/Financial Services background.**:

- Complex infrastructure implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Cisco (Nexus), Kernal bypass tech and monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of Mellanox would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience of highly secure network environments and architecture.
- Knowledge of open source network monitoring tools such as Zabbix or equivalent.
- An interest in Digital Assets / Cryptocurrency would be an advantage but not essential.
