**Position: Head of Infrastructure (FTSE250 client)** **Location: Kings Cross** **Start date: ASAP- 3 months** **Role type: Permanent** **Salary:£110-120k + 12% pension + 25% bonus + medical insurance + life assurance + gym + 5 weeks hol** **The Client** **Role Purpose**:The Head of Infrastructure is responsible for all networks, cloud infrastructure and cyber security across group offices and flagship locations. Ensuring that the client has secure, highly available and fit for purpose technologysolutions to meet their business needs. **Responsibilities;** - Responsible for managing the cloud infrastructure, networks and cyber security for all group office and flagship locations in the UK and Europe. - Responsible for driving cloud migration strategy moving away from appliance-based services to a truly cloud environment - Lead migration away from an MLPS network to SDWAN to deliver a modern and flexible network infrastructure - Collaborates closely with the Service Delivery team to ensure escalated incidents and requests are resolved to SLA - Responsible in ensuring that infrastructure is reaching its SLA of >99.95% - Ensures that whole environment - flagships and offices are secure against cyber security risk - Maintains cyber security maturity against our agreed business risk appetite - Responsible for Disaster Recovery plan and regular testing to deliver continuity in the event of an incident - Support the business in identifying and delivering quality and value from key vendors/suppliers - Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Experience, peers and stakeholders across the business to align IT and security to documented standards - Ensures resources, capabilities and capacity to meet both existing and new business demand - Ensures robust and valuable solutions are in place to support business activities and offer the best possible customer experience - Responsibility over the IT Risk Register, highlighting key risks present within the business and planning and delivering mitigation. - Responsibility over Infrastructure Budget Management - Elevating the perception of Infrastructure IT - becoming a business partner and driver - Line management of 10-15 team resources **Requirements of the Head of Infrastructure**: - Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working as a Head of Infrastructure or similar. - An in-depth understanding of security principles in order to operate and deliver with a security first approach - Leadership of network, infrastructure, cloud and security managers and departments. - To deliver technologies in the networks, infrastructure and cloud space in line with the business strategy. - Experience in running RFI/RFP's - Understanding and experience of building and implementing IT Roadmaps and developing related measures and KPIs. - Project management (including planning, budgetary control, people management); experience with managing corporate-wide, regional large scale projects - Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality - Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles - Strong communicator with experience of liaising with all levels of management - Conflict resolution skills - Excellent Budget Management skills
