To operate our Pan European surface transport services, liaise with the relevant Partners, Carriers and Clients and administer the business in accordance with Uniserve procedures and requirements and your Supervisor's instructions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Comply with company policies and make sure you are aware of any changes, updates, or additions.
- Protect the interests of the business at all times and escalate any areas of concern to your Supervisors and Managers.
- Be commercially astute and ensure that the jobs make a profit.
- Understand and utilise One World as the main operating system.
- Understand the accounting and financial processes and requirements.
- Ensure good negotiation and contractual conduct and commercial awareness.
- Deliver excellent customer care and management of clients' expectations.
- Ensure good time management.
- Monitor new and lost clients on a weekly basis and keep your supervisor and management advised.
- Ensure estimates are allocated for all expected costs and our sales invoices are raised in a timely manner in accordance with our invoicing policies but not to exceed a maximum of 1 week from dispatch or arrival.
- Ensure all files have been costed and charged correctly and completed correctly.
- Promote to clients and potential clients all of Uniserve European services.
- Ensure customs clearance processes are followed with instructions gained from importers/exporters and declared correct for customs clearance.
- Ensure any duties and taxes payable immediately are collected prior to delivery.
- Follow and maintain all compliance standards.
