A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Business Development team within Card Factory to be an International Franchise Account Manager helping to manage and support the partnerships Card Factory are servicing. The purpose of the role is to own therelationship with the partner on behalf of the business, using your operational and commercial knowledge to coach and guide the franchise partner to manage, maintain and grow their business and maximise Card Factory’s opportunity in the market.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Be the key point of contact at card factory for all partner queries, and all internal queries about the partner.
- Develop a positive good relationship with the customer to understand their goals, values and objectives and be responsible for cascading the product and merchandising vision to ensure alignment between the customer and Card Factory.
- Create sales reports weekly/monthly to update internal stakeholders on the performance of the Franchise Partner.
- Carry out meetings with partners, discussing brand positioning, open to buy, sell through and markdowns to identify opportunities and maximise performance
- Work with the Replenishment Analyst to, analyse and provide weekly and monthly availability reporting, reviewing both opportunities and risks whilst working with both supply chains to minimise future risks;
- Lead the annual business review process with the partner, reviewing detailed performance metrics against the business plan and highlighting improvement opportunities
- Work alongside the Replenishment Planner to validate purchase orders against sales / warehouse stock holding and lead times;
- Gather and share any localised knowledge / insight of opportunities within the market to the customer and Card Factory to build into future changes;
- In conjunction with the partner, identify category issues and opportunities in the retail landscape and recommend action plans, both operational and commercial in nature
- Develop a category retail activity plan including category re-plans, refreshes or product changes including exit strategies;
- Work with the partner on new market launches, including store set up, launch marketing plans and brand approvals.
- Ensure all partner operations are in line with brand guidelines and operating procedures, as well as feeding back into the business any partner local exceptions required for approval.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Retail sector experience
- Experience in account management, franchise and international experience preferred
- Critical thinking;
- The ability to multi-task;
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Open mindedness to a different market and changing shopper habits.
