In this role you will partner with the Senior Leadership Team across all of our routes to market; Retail, Digital and Partnerships providing strategic insight and challenge to drive Company performance and engagement. Lead a team of retail business partnersto champion the people agenda and embed across Channels driving a culture of exceptional leadership. Deputise for the Head of People Business Partnering.

**Main Responsibilities**
**Business Partnering**

Working with the relevant Senior Leadership Team to implement the key programmes of work through effective change management, ensuring new processes are embedded and are consistent with the company values.

Coach and challenge the Senior Leadership Team to develop robust and practical strategic change initiatives to deliver the company mission and increase leadership capability.

Indirect line management of the People Advisory team.

Partnering with the Senior Leadership Team in a strategic capacity to focus on:

- Resource Planning
- Talent Management
- Organisational Design
- Performance Management
- Dissemination of colleague engagement data and action planning
- Dissemination of exit interview data and providing feedback to the relevant management teams
- Coaching, upskilling and development of management capability
- Manage key strategic projects within your area of expertise, and work cross functionally to deliver results
- Monitor turnover and support managers with proactive action to retain key colleagues
- Lead a team of professional business partners within the retail division, to develop the team, skills and experience, creating a talent pipeline fit for future
- Accountable for ensuring provision of advice for complex employee relations cases
- Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards accreditation
- Up to date knowledge of employment law
- Experience operating at a senior level within HR Business Partnering
- Experience of working within a commercially focused multi-site retail business
- Ability to work at pace through a high volume of work, balancing immediate requests and project work
- Ability to work on own initiative and with limited supervision
- Ability to manage ambiguity
- Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload effectively
- Ability to demonstrate tenacity and resilience
- Self-driven with high standards of work
- Good communicator with an adaptive style for differing audiences
- Strong influencing and leadership skills with the ability to influence and persuade senior management
- Genuinely enjoys having the opportunity to influence and impact strategic decision making
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude and a passion for people

This role is very flexible as the tasks are varied.The jobholder must maintain confidentiality and respect personal information at all times due to the nature of the work.
