An exciting opportunity has come available to be part of the newly formed Governance & Assurance Team. The Pioneer Group has G1/V1 regulatory ratings following an IDA last year, and the team’s role is to continue to strengthen governance, assurance and compliance across the Group. You will provide efficient support to various stakeholders within the Pioneer Group, administer Board and Committee meetings producing high quality minutes, supporting with planning and delivery of projects, recruit and induct new Board Members, monitor the Group’s assurance framework and champion data protection.

We are looking for someone who has experience in working in a governance/assurance role and can manage their own workload, is well organised and can work with minimum supervision. Your attitude and approach to problem solving will make you successful in this role. You will have good IT skills and will thrive on responsibility.
- Experience of working in a governance and compliance role and working in a regulated sector
- Knowledge of governance structures and processes
- A positive can do attitude and
- You’ll be assertive and have an excellent communication skills approach
- Be confident
- A good education including English and Maths qualifications and an ability to communicate potentially difficult decisions with confidence.
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
