Kind Consultancy is working with a well-established Financial Services business in the West Midlands which is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join them in a full-time permanent role paying up to £36,000. This is a predominantly remote rolerequiring occasional travel to their Birmingham offices.
The Quality Assurance Officer will proactively drive a right-first-time culture, ensuring compliance to all internal processes and systems, with key responsibilities including:

- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of quality methodologies and relevant regulatory developments
- Supporting the development and delivery of training for all colleagues across the business.
- Targeting key areas through training needs analysis, and working closely with the Training team to roll out a Quality Management training package.
- Acting as an ambassador in promoting a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business with the use of quality methodologies; e.g. TQM, Six Sigma.
- Developing and supporting every aspect of an internal audit quality system, from risk-based audit planning, implementation, reporting, feedback, and re-auditing.
- Conducting quality audits across the business, delivering against a defined audit plan, providing actionable audit outputs that drive quality improvements across the business.
- Reviewing and approving quality documentation across the business, keeping it up to date; e.g. policies and processes.
- Providing clear and concise reporting to key stakeholders; e.g. Senior Managers, Executive Committee, etc.
- Taking the lead on 1st line ISO assurance/reaccreditation audits, and control testing; e.g. ISO9001 and 27001 recertification.
- Work closely with the wider Governance Risk & Compliance team to plan, carry out, implement, and report on control testing measures of functions across the business
- Holds an Audit/Quality Auditing qualification
- Has 3+ years of experience delivering QA
- Has a working knowledge of UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act, the FCA and PRA regulatory regimes, auditing techniques and processes, ISO9001 and other quality methodologies
- Has experience of analysing data, providing summaries and explanations to non-technical colleagues
- Has previously created and delivered training materials to a range of stakeholders
- Has previously developed an internal auditing (quality) framework
