London, United Kingdom Goodman Masson Full time

A regulatory role has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and plan the distribution and completion of high profile actuarial projects. Due to the nature of working in a regulatory environment, these projects will be very high profile andcompleted by experienced actuaries to whom you will have oversight of their deliverables and ensure that everyone is managing their workloads in sync, whilst arranging for some of their work to be peer reviewed, and overseeing this process.

This would suit a Project Manager who has a background in working with other actuaries, or who has worked in a financial services background and has an appreciation of financial services regulation.

You will also be responsible for developing the project management of their larger projects including the actuarial monitoring programme. You will work with actuarial staff in order to develop and maintain high-quality and realistic project plans, PIDs,RAID logs, RACI matrix and project review documentation. You will monitor progress against these plans and identify and initiate corrective action as necessary. You will also interact with other teams such as Governance and Stakeholder Engagement to supportthe delivery of these projects. You will also develop the non-actuarial aspects of the operational framework of the actuarial regulatory regime. You will also support colleagues in a range of other project activities.

Ideally you will have a proven track record in project management discipline, supported by a qualification such as:

- PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM Practitioner Qualification
- Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner, P3O Practitioner
- Agile (Scrum / DSDM / similar practitioner-level)
- A degree course, or similar, involving project management modules /
credits
- Expertise in producing project/programme/portfolio reports and
dashboards
