Staffing Coordinator

**Job description**
Aspen Hill Village are looking for a Staffing Coordinator to work in our care home in Hunslet, Leeds. We are 180 bedded nursing home consisting of 6 individual units.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for inputting rotas onto the system that are planned by the units
- Contacting agencies and arranging the booking of agency staff for any shifts that cannot be covered internally.
- Discuss staffing in the daily operations meeting with the Senior Leadership Team.
- Negotiating new terms and conditions with third party agencies.
- Ensure the site is safe with the required staffing levels - Taking into account the skill mix of employees.
- Liaising with the recruitment department to ensure staffing levels are sufficient.
- Arranging cover for staff sickness, absenteeism or holidays
- Moving staff to different units when based on their skill level and resident needs
- Determine staffing shortfalls and report job vacancies and scheduling problems to human resources.
**About you**:
- Organisation: Staffing Coordinators must ensure they’re adhering to company CQC regulatory standards, so organisational skills are vital for good Staffing Coordinators.
- Relationship building: Staffing Coordinators work directly with line managers and employees on a daily basis. Good working relationships must be formed.
We are looking for someone who has experience in a healthcare planning role and organising jobs. This is an extremely important role within the company to ensure staff are arranged correctly on shifts on a daily basis.

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
