**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**

This role reports into the Digital Marketing Manager and plays an important part in delivering on the forecasted sales and margin targets for the business

You will assist in achieving the overarching digital marketing objectives, plans and activities, and will be responsible for developing and delivering all SEO activities on time, to budget and to the desired level of quality. The SEO Specialist supports the Digital Marketing Manager in the achievement of key business goals by implementing the online and offline SEO strategy. You will also work closely with the Website Manager, helping to build and deliver a best-in-class user experience.

We’re a small team with big goals, and your positive attitude will help us get there. You will be confident, with a passion for online and delivering a great customer experience while meeting business targets.

This role is a hybrid position where whilst most of the role responsibilities can be conducted remotely, you may also need to attend our Head Office in Leicester when needed for training or meetings. As a result you will need to have a driving licence and access to your own vehicle.The extent of office time required will be considered in line with how much support the appointee may need to execute the role as required.

**REQUIREMENTS**

And now for the nitty gritty:

- Extensive SEO experience within a similar role is essential
- Understanding of CMS platforms
- Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
- Ability to write high quality, authoritative website articles that are easily comprehensible and optimised for search engines
- Able to undertake competitive analysis of other companies within our industry, and synthesise high volumes of data
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills, both verbal and in writing, and able to pay high attention to detail in a fast paced working environment
