IT Business Solutions delivers business value through the management of IT products including implementation of change projects in a disciplined, business focused, engaged and methodical way to Munich Re Speciality Group (MRSG) and its associated business units.

As a Test Specialist you will conduct the content related detailed design and execution of non-functional, data and functional tests to ensure high quality design and implementation of software solutions.

Own the driving forward of the testing function within the MRSG Underwriting and Finance projects ensuring that the highest level of quality assurance is the standard within the projects and ensuring that we adopt the best practices from the wider organisation while having a key focus on the delivery timelines.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the project team(s) during test planning, test design, test support services and reporting of test results and error situations
- Perform high-level design test cases based on functional, non-functional, and technical designs and requirements
- Execute and leads the functional/non-functional and technical tests, incl. analysis and documentation of deviations
- Identify process improvements, contributes to corporate testing standards and definition of best practice
- Design, implement, and lead the test automation solutions based on defined frameworks
- Design, implement, and lead the test data management solutions based on defined frameworks
- Manage any test environments
- Assist and lead non-testers to deliver high quality testing including
- Training staff on how to use testing on Azure Dev Ops
- Training staff on testing standards
- Training staff on risk-based testing approaches
- Establish a solid foundation by setting up a maintainable regression suite
- Follow established guidelines and processes for project methodologies - MR Essentials and ensure compliance with necessary IT controls.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- 4-6 years professional background as a tester in the respective area
- Proven ability to lead testing within an agile environment
- A balanced quality and delivery focus approach
- Knowledge and experience on testing and setting up testing framework using Azure DevOps
- Knowledge and experience on testing automation tools
- Working as a SME on quality within major projects
- Managing stakeholders with effective communications and reporting on program quality assurance
- Supporting and leading multiple parallel initiatives
- Creating traceability matrix mapping Test Scenarios / Test Cases with requirements
- Working knowledge in Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test Estimates, and Test Case design
