**Purpose**:
The role involves a wide range of duties including all day to day administration within all of the functions within the department. All day to day activity in relation to the company training function and programme, the requirement to work proactively and to deadlines is essential. As the training and administration element functions alongside the Human Resources and Executive department, various administration tasks and duties will also be involved.

**Duties will be varied and include**:

- Oversee training process of apprentices ensuring the correct documentation and training joining files created.
- Manage and check grant payments.
- Providing a quarterly report to HR Director of funding received and checking to training carried out to ensure all funding received.
- Liaising with apprentices, college assessors, managers to ensure apprentice programmes on track and record of college timetables and annual intakes confirmation.
- Liaise with managers on any weekly payroll reporting and information requests, updating spreadsheets and performing payroll associated duties when required.
- Processing of all weekly payroll and HR administrative tasks.
- Co-ordination for training including to book and carry out all administrative tasks and follow up for training plan including new start/leaver employees, managers, training providers.
- Scanning, filing, costing, requisitions, appraisal training, annual training schedules, employee training records, qualifications, training agreements.
- Ensure all information is retained as confidential and data protected following GDPR legislation.
- Provision of administrative and ad hoc duties for holiday/absence cover within the department when required.
- Reporting and ensuring any queries are discussed with line manager to assist with effective day to day activity within the department.
- Weekly/monthly/annual reports and checks including task list actions and as detailed in processes and procedures and by your line manager.
- Liaise and work with all internal and external clients in a professional manner.
- Any other department related activity that directly impacts administration and training processes within the business.
- Responsibility to manage and check Fire alarm/warden as required.
- Compliance to current Health and Safety processes and procedures within the business to ensure the safety of clients and employees and protect against the spread of Covid 19.
