**Job Description: Purchasing Administrator**
**Salary: £23,000**
**Location:, Edinburgh**
**Contract type: permanent 40 hrs per week (Monday to Friday)**

**Key Duties and responsibilities**:
- Manage and process purchase orders (goods and services)
- Approve supplier purchase invoices on a daily/ weekly basis
- Code invoices for posting to nominal ledger
- Manage payment of supplier invoices and produce suggested supplier payment runs,
- Follow-up supplier queries,
- Receive stock from couriers on a daily basis
- Assist in the administration of company billing platforms
- Carry out any other duties associated with providing administration support and contribute positively to the smooth running of the department,
- Carry out all training as required, maintain knowledge in keeping with high professional standards
- Contribute to continual process improvements
- Adhere to relevant Health & Safety procedures, identify any Health & Safety issues and raise with your line manager
**Key Skills**:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good attention to detail
- High numerical literacy
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 products including Word, Excel and Teams
**Preferred Skills**:
- IT industry procurement experience
- Professional Services Automation (PSA) systems experience
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
