We need a **People (HR) Administrator** to join us in our Lymm office to help ensure all employment related queries, correspondence and processes are done efficiently and to high standards. As well as strong administration skills you’ll need to be customer focused and enjoy working in a friendly team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Writing letters and providing low level advice relating to changes in employment, probationary reviews, maternity/paternity/shared parental leave, flexible working, holiday entitlements/calculations and reference requests;
- Conducting right to work and DBS checked;
- Maintaining accurate records in employee files, systems and spreadsheets;
- Liaising with the payroll team and nursery teams, ensuring accurate and timely information is delivered in line with payroll deadlines;
- Supporting newly acquired nurseries in adapting to Kids Planet processes, along with supporting with due diligence during the TUPE process;
- Involvement in team process improvement projects as well as contributing to company-wide people projects;
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent approach;
- Continually strive for excellence and recommending where improvements can be made.
- Liaise with operational teams and external companies to respond to all reference requests;
- Minute taking; and
- Any other reasonable duties as requested to meet the needs of Kids Planet.
**You**:
- Essential:_
- Experience of People/Human Resources administration;
- Collaborative and engaging approach and ability to work as part of a team work;
- Good personal organisation and a flexible approach with an ability to pay high attention to detail;
- Experience of producing accurate employment/contractual documentation and correspondence;
- Experience of using Human Resources information Systems or software;
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels;
- Ability to work to deadlines and within defined standards;
- Ability to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information;
- Ability to work within a fast paced, change focused organisation;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Desirable:_
- CIPD qualification Level 3 or working towards;
- Employment Law knowledge;
- Experience using Ceridian Dayforce;
- Intermediate MS Office suite skills including intermediate/advance Excel skills;
- Demonstrates wider business understanding of Children’s day care settings or similar sector knowledge.
**Working Hours**: 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.
**Location**:Lymm, Warrington WA13.
**Annual Leave**: 25 days plus bank holidays
