Our new client who are a GSA (General Sales Agent) representing a number of Major Cargo Airlines exporting to USA, Canada, Channel Islands from both the UK and Ireland

The client is looking for 2 vibrant people that have some experience in the world of cargo, to work with them as they expand their operations & service team at their base near Manchester airport, UK.

The roles are exclusively trade facing, working with freight forwarders & express operators. They represent the cargo interests of 5 airlines, offering their products to market & assisting freight movers to purchase appropriate & high value services. Yourrole will start with assisting the client to choose the right product, then following through with the operational duties that reservations attract. Inevitably there will be some administrative duties to support the sales & service functions of the role.

Qualifications are not the main consideration for these positions, although acceptable grades at a high school educational level in both mathematics & English will help to show your ability to perform the basics that the position requires.

The primary function of the company is centred around client relationships, so a successful applicant will bring a level of personality & enthusiasm to the team. The applicant needs to also be able to work on their own initiative & be confident in takingresponsibility for making decisions that will have a financial impact upon clients, suppliers & our company. Accuracy & an appreciation for the fine detail are also essential.
