We are excited to be working with a fantastic client in the Childcare industry.

Due to rapid growth our client is looking for a HR Admin Manager to join their head office team in Cheshire. With more than 90 settings they provide the highest standard of nursery care and education within a unique environment.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Establishing, designing and developing procedures, policies and associated documentation.
- Ensure any improvements identified in admin processes contribute to a professional, streamlined, customer focused service that considers the whole company needs and future growth.
- Manage the HR Administration team through 1:1 reviews and management on a day to day basis.
- Work with People Director to set individual team member objectives that contribute to the broader people plan and projects.
- Represent the HR Admin function at meetings as required.
- Act as the liaison with Payroll and Operations to understand workflow and interdependencies between departments.
- Ensure data, records and processes for newly acquired nurseries are transitioned and embedded efficiently into the existing KP practices.
- Oversee the DBS vetting process for new starters and existing team members.
- To support the implementation of HR Systems; to enter data and maintain these systems accordingly.
- Liaise with operational teams to respond to all reference requests and liaise with external companies.
- To provide general administration support to the HR Department as required.

**Essential**:

- Considerable experience of Human Resources administration and managing a team.
- Experience of producing accurate and complex employment/contractual documentation and correspondence.
- Ability to provide basic advice on employment terms, conditions, policies and procedures.
- Ability to set & work to deadlines and within defined standards.
- Ability to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A creative and decisive thinker.
- MS Office suite including intermediate/advance Excel skills.

**Desirable**:

- Sector experience - child care or similar.
- Managing projects.
- Working across multiple locations.
- Experience or understanding of change management.
- CIPD qualification.
