It manages the careers of all officers, non-commissioned, and ground trades personnel. The Career Management Support Area of Responsibility provides support functions to Career Management (CM), HR Centres, and the wider Royal Air Force (RAF). The Team delivers policy advice and administrative functions across promotions, appraisals, Terms and Conditions of Service, Medical Casework, CM Standards and Evaluation and RAF Disclosures. The role is to ensure effective management of information provided by service personnel and Human Resource (HR) Centres. In doing so, the TCoS section delivers processes including Employability Review Boards, Change of Engagements, Promotions and Terminations. SO3 TCoS is responsible for 2-5 E1 (Admin Officer) Clerks in a managerial and supervisory capacity and dealing with appropriate casework in line with current and legacy policies. This position is advertised at 37 hours per week **Job description**: - This role presents an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of key HR and Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) functions to all Officers, Enlisted Personnel and Non-commissioned Aircrew within the RAF. - The role is to ensure effective management of information provided by service personnel and Human Resource (HR) Centres. In doing so, the TCoS section delivers processes including Employability Review Boards, Change of Engagements, Promotions and Terminations. TCoS also provide advice on these policies to HR Centres, Career Managers and Service Personnel. - TCoS supports Career Managers across all Branches, Trades and Professions across the RAF allowing for diversity in role and requiring regular stakeholder engagement, including CMs, Professions Advisors, Unit and HR Centre staff to ensure effective and efficient delivery of each function. - compliant decision making. You will also provide support to SO2 TCoS and have wider responsibility within CM Support. - CM Support is an exciting and diverse team which would suit a motivated and passionate individual who is keen to support the wider CM organisation and RAF. - The following experience is required: - Experience with Microsoft office tools, in particular Excel and Word, are essential. - Leadership experience to ensure sufficient support to team and to deputise in the absence of line manager. - Ability to evaluate and prioritise workload. - Experience within HR or other administrative support roles. **Responsibilities**: - This job description is a general outline of the role’s duties and responsibilities and may be amended as the team evolves.
