**Job summary**:
This is a recruitment campaign for Executive Officers (EO), in the Air Finance Operations In Year Mgt teams. If the number of individuals found successful exceeds the number of vacancies, a reserve list will be created to allocate individuals to any additional roles vacated over the next 12 months.

The posts advertised have no line management responsibilities.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

**Job description**:

- The In Year Mgt team are responsible for producing timely and accurate monthly financial forecasting services to Air TLB (Top Level Budget), producing monthly forecasts, and accruals and pre-payments to support the wider group financial position each month.
- This role is the focal point for the Finance Business Partners (FBP’s) within Air Command, forming relationships with key stakeholders is essential.
- You will also closely liaise with a number of RAF stations to ensure correct financial information is submitted in a timely manner to support monthly forecasts as well as annual planning cycles.
- Some travel to RAF stations in your areas of responsibility may be undertaken in order to forge better working relationships and to develop your understanding of the areas within your role.
- Communication in this role is key as is the ability to forge great working relationships with a wide range of individuals.- Air Finance is based at Headquarters Air Command, located in the village of Walters Ash. There are good public transport links with regular bus services to/from Aylesbury and High Wycombe as well as free car parking on site**Person specification**:

- Calculate a robust monthly forecast for BLBs, submitting forecast within TLB guidelines.
- Maintain accurate data and up to date business information within commentary workbook to conduct variance analysis.
- Generate accruals and CP&F mis-booking corrections.
- Update and manage Business Plan to incorporate known changes and business as usual output.
- Complete AP0 process on an annual basis.
- Assist Finance Business Partners with tasks and provide data when requested.
- Assist wider Fin Hub with ad-hoc tasks.
- Liaise and build upon existing relationships with station business managers
