Dale Farm Cooperative is a UK dairy farmer co-operative owned by over 1200 dairy farmers who supply us with fresh milk. **Production Operative**
As a Production Operative, you will be a key member of the Grating and Packing facilities playing a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient production and packing of quality grated cheese.
You must also be willing to work a rotating shift pattern 6.00am -2.00pm, 2.00pm-10.00pm including bank holidays, as the business requires.
**The Role**:
- Ensure a quality product by checking for defects
- Operate Machinery as per company Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments
- Adjust production lines as needed to avoid downtime
- Assist and support production teams in loading and unloading materials and products as necessary
- Keep accurate records of production activities to comply with company and legislative requirements.
- Strictly follow the departments cleaning schedule and support other functions as deemed necessary
**The Person**:
**Essential**:
- Minimum of 12 months experience in manufacturing environment, preferable FMCG or similar
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative
- Competent in MS Office
**Desirable**:
- 6 months experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
- 6 months experience in Packing and/or High Care
