**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a People Services Administrator to join the team.
As a People Services Administrator you will support the People Services Team to provide a proactive, professional and comprehensive HR service to our Distribution Centres, Retail Stores and People Business Partners, ensuring that all HR administration is completed in a consistent, structured and accurate manner.
- Responsible for all new starter documentation and administration of all permanent recruitment across the Distribution Centres and Retail Stores including inductions, payroll paperwork and creating new starter personnel files.
- Responsible for monitoring probationary periods, producing letters to confirm extensions and reviews when required.
- Responsible for all filing within the departments, ensuring personnel files for all employees are maintained and kept up to date
- Monitor Disclosure Scotland certificates for new starters with the Distribution Centres to ensure submission within deadline, identifying any content of a concerning nature and raising this with the appropriate HR colleagues.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining employment references, ensuring that they are held for all employees and responding to requests for references for ex-employees and financial companies.
- Responsible for the tracking, monitoring & validating paperwork relating to the furlough process
- Provide administrative support on an ad hoc basis to produce employee information, standard letters, memos, payroll paperwork and internal and external mail.
- Responsible for monitoring AWOL absent colleges, producing letters and associated administration
- Provide ‘Reports’ when required to support the HR Function.
- Responsible for the tracking, monitoring, collating & validating paperwork relating to various HR activities such as leavers, and Subject Access Requests.
**About You**:
- Solid administrative experience
- Good verbal communication skills, both vertically and horizontally
- Experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in an HR environment is desirable
