**Overview**:
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience as you complete a Data Analyst - Level 4 Apprenticeship.

We have recently created a new financial analytics department, where you will be able to develop your skills in a data driven environment and receive training to become proficient as a data analyst. This apprenticeship will provide you with industry experiencefrom one of the biggest companies in the North East and realistic career progression alongside an Advanced Level 3 qualification as a Data Technician.

During your apprenticeship you will get the opportunity to broaden your experience and knowledge of marketing by working across different functions in the business.

**Duties**:
The role will cover various aspects of the Groups financial data, dealing with reporting on:

- Financial accounts
- Sales
- Expenses
- Marketing
- HR and payroll
- Production of reports using in-house BI products and Microsoft software
- Maintenance of the financial database e.g., new users access and reports
- Provide support to the 100+ users of the financial database with the regular accounts submissions

- High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel
- An interest in data and statistics.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

**Entry requirements**:
**Standard entry**:

- Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
- OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)

**Plus**:

- 5 GCSE's, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
- Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

**Working week**:
Monday - Friday,
37.5 hours a week.

**Salary**:
£15,000 per annum.

**Future prospects:**
92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

**Important information**:
QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
