The Role:
As a Graduate Data Analyst, you will support our Operational Auditing team by working with our Data to interpret what better helps us understand security, operational audits, and loss prevention.This Graduate Data Analyst role will suit someone who has analyticalskills across either SQL, BigQuery, and Excel.This a developmental role, where you can really make your mark in the world of Data Analytics
Key Responsibilities
To source, produce and analyse data for use within the security, audit and LP functions on a routine basis. This data is primarily extracted or sourced from either the company data lake, 3rd party suppliers or from within the department.
Plan, organise, manage & support the production of audit documentation, for multiple audit uses within the Ops audit team
Support the production of the monthly audit and security management packs provided to the senior leadership team with a summary of highlights for the month and YTD
Format and analyse the billing/invoice data for security expenditure received from 3rd party suppliers
Summarise findings and updates which are presented to management and stakeholders to highlight areas of performance within specific areas of the business
Lead or support project based work within the company that may improve policy, procedure or help reduce loss within the business

Skills and competencies
Previous experience with working with large data sets
Clear communication and able to work with various stakeholders
Computer literate and able to use Excel / Google Sheets
SQL or BigQuery would be beneficial
Some knowledge of Plumbing and Heating/Large Multi-Site businesses would be beneficial, but by no means essential
