RedCat Pubs are acquiring multiple pubs and Inns in sort after locations across the UK. Our calling is to revive and re-generate potentially amazing spaces, by investing heavily in the buildings and service and most of all the people. By providing industry leading, lifestyle enhancing spaces, we will be injecting excitement back into the hospitality sector.
We are looking for a Part Time HR Assistant to help onboard new sites and set up HR processes. This role is initially temporary, based from home and flexible working hours.
Your main duties will include:
- Managing Employee Contracts, ensuring all employed team members have contracts of employment in place.
- Support the Head of People in the TUPE process.
- Implementing the company disciplinary procedures, carrying out investigations into employee misconduct.
- Delivery of New Starter Inductions and conduct associated right to work checks.
- Manage maternity/paternity/adoption and flexible working processes.
- Supporting administrative processes within the team i.e. management of administration tasks and e-filing of HR documentation.
- Assisting with HR queries.
- Assist with the monthly payroll, processing employee and benefit changes - working with Payroll and HR Shared Services to deliver a high level of customer service.
- Assisting in the organisation of employee events.
- Support to the Head of People with specialised HR projects.
- Attendance at team and head office meetings and externals meetings occasionally as required.
- HR admin experience, in ER, family policies and HR processes and procedures
- Excellent spreadsheet skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a professional outlook and commitment.
- Be comfortable working at a fast pace.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, reporting directly to the Head of People.
- Be methodical, reliable, and accurate in everything you do.
- A remote worker who will occasionally be required at team meetings in the Cheshire area.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 24 per week
**Salary**: From £150.00 per day
