**Job Overview**:
They must have the management controls knowledge to manage an invoice driven business structure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process purchase invoices, employee expenses, and credit card statements
- Raise and issue sales invoices in a timely manner
- Chase debt with full DSO and creditor accountability
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
- Prepare bank rec’s and assist with monthly account reconciliations
- Support payroll preparation and liaise with payroll providers where necessary
- Assist in preparing weekly, flash and monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Liaise with external auditors and provide required documentation
- Monitor and manage petty cash and staff reimbursements
- Carry out other administrative and finance-related tasks as needed

**Person Specification**:
**Essential**:

- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong numerical and data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Oracle, Sage, Xero, or similar)
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills including presentations

**Desirable**:

- Qualified (part or working towards)
- Experience in a consultancy or professional services environment
- Knowledge of UK VAT rules and payroll processes
- Basic knowledge of Group Structures.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
