**Working Hours**: Monday-Friday, 9-5

Due to continued expansion, ZOO Digital is currently seeking Finance Assistant to join our team based in Sheffield. Our Finance team supports the ZOO Digital group of companies, which are based both inside and outside of the UK.

As Finance Assistant, you will provide administrative support the Finance Team, as well as performing finance duties such as purchase ledger, sales ledger, purchase orders, bank reconciliations and ZOO Echo, our bespoke database. You will also maintain revenue and costs of sales records for the business, including accruals and prepayments schedules required for month end.

Day to day responsibilities may include;
- Collating expense reports and checking receipts
- Setting up new supplier accounts in Sage
- Coding and entering invoices, accounting for VAT where applicable
- Setting up new banking templates on the banking system
- Producing weekly payment runs for authorisation
- Payment runs in various currencies
- Ensuring payments are correctly reflected in SAGE
- Issuing purchase orders as required, ensuring that all purchase orders are approved as per process
- Matching purchase invoices as received against purchase orders, tracking outstanding purchase orders
- Posting nominal payments on Sage
- Multi-currency bank reconciliations
- Inter-company bank transfers
- Raising sales invoices
- Providing monthly reports to clients prior to invoicing
- Liaising with different departments to ensure invoices are sent with appropriate information

**Requirements**:
**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced applicants with previous experience gained in a Finance/Accounts Assistant role. You must have excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well alone or as part of a team.

We are also looking for applicants with the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience working in a Finance department, with an all-round knowledge of finance processes
- Experience with accounting software such as Sage
- AAT Level 3 or 4, or studying towards
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and V-Lookups
