We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our growing fashion-based brand. You will be working directly with the Operations and Finance Manager assisting in the day-to-day finance and administrative duties with a focus on maintaining the sales ledger to a high level of accuracy.

**Key tasks**:

- Handling all queries relating to invoicing
- Liaising with other teams in the business to ensure accuracy and completeness of the invoicing and payment process
- Bank reconciliations including foreign currency accounts
- Credit Control and monitoring of credit accounts
- Taking orders and creating sales invoices where needed
- Managing returns and producing credit notes
- Posting all purchase invoices
- Maintaining relationships with our valued trading clients
- Any other finance duties as requested
**Key Skills and Experience**
- At least 2 years accounts experience is essential, AAT qualifications are preferable but not essential
- High attention to detail for accurately managing the sales ledger
- Good telephone manner
- Good organisation skills
- Experience in using Sage 50 accounting software
- Experience in using Microsoft Office and good general computer literacy
- Import and export experience (desirable but not essential)
- Second language (desirable but not essential)
- Full time, permanent position
- Probationary period of 3 months

- This is not a remote working position, you will be required to attend our new offices at Newhall Road, Sheffield, S9 2QD. Social distancing guidelines are in place.
