We have ambitious and exciting growth plans and are looking for talented individuals to be part of our journey. The role We are seeking a Group Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast‑paced commercial environment, whether you’re transitioning from practice or already have experience in industry. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping financial processes and supporting our ambitious growth plans. Key Responsibilities Produce consolidated monthly financial reporting requirements, including management accounts, investor and banking requirements. Lead the year‑end process, acting as the key contact for audit and tax advisors. Prepare annual consolidated financial statements and single‑entity statutory accounts. Produce consolidated weekly short‑term cashflow forecasts. Support the Head of Group Reporting with integration and updates of the finance system. Improve and maintain capex reporting, including development spend. Develop and maintain monthly overhead reporting and present to department heads. Manage and support the Payroll Manager, gaining sufficient understanding of the payroll process to provide cover in exceptional circumstances. Deputise for the Head of Group Reporting as and when required. Skills & Experience ACCA/ICAEW or equivalent qualified or part‑qualified (with a clear plan to complete). Strong background in practice accountancy, ideally with exposure to multiple clients. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Additional Information Job type: This is a full‑time hybrid position, primarily remote with 1–2 days per week at our Sheffield office. Occasional out‑of‑hours work may be required to meet business needs. Salary: Competitive salary and generous benefits.
