**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock availability, preventing both overstock and shortages.
- **Supplier Coordination**: Place and track orders with suppliers, maintaining strong relationships to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any supply issues.
- **Stock Adjustments**: Manage & investigate stock adjustments, returns, and discrepancies efficiently, ensuring stock records are up to date.
- **Reporting & Analysis**: Prepare regular stock reports, providing insights into trends, overstock, and potential shortages.
- **Cross-department Collaboration**: Work closely with Sales, Operations, Site Managers and Health & Safety teams to ensure stock levels align with business demands.
- **Record Maintenance**: Maintain accurate records of all stock transactions and updates within the inventory management system.
- **Purchasing Support**: Daily purchase order requests to suppliers, collaborate with the purchasing team to monitor supplier performance, negotiate pricing, and assist with procurement processes when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of **2 years' experience** in stock control and purchasing (essential).
- Proven ability to manage inventory in a busy office environment with competing priorities.
- Proficiency in **inventory management software** and **Microsoft Office Suite**, especially Excel.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- **Planning experience** is advantageous but not essential.
