**The role**
We’re looking for an experienced HR Manager. This opening presents the right person with a wonderful opportunity to take on responsibility of our corporate departments across the UK. You will be spending much of your time at SGN’s various offices, assistingmanagers with a broad range of HR issues (including change management, absence management, and disciplinary, capability, and grievance issues). This role will involve an occasional travel to locations in Southern England and Scotland.

**A day includes**:

- Be the main point of contact for all HR day to day transactional queries
- Coordination of Risk Management activities for HR Directorate
- Coordinate regular ED&I Partner meetings and coordinate action points
- Support with internal and external recruitment
- Talent management and succession planning activity
- Establishing and maintaining effective employee relations
- Ensuring compliance with employment agreements, policies, procedures, and the law
- Supporting managers to build on existing operational management capability
- Advising line managers on transactional HR activities such as change management, absence management, disciplinary, capability and grievance
- Coordinate the relevant monthly MI for HR Business Partners

**We’re looking for**:

- Established experience in HR; confidence and ability in resolving potential conflict/employee relations issues.
- Requirement to be CIPD qualified or working towards.
- Proven experience in a similar, fast paced industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Initiative and a flexible approach to work.
