Payroll Administrator

We have an exciting new role for a Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll team at Harrods.

About the role

This role will provide an efficient and professional payroll service. The role requires an adaptable and flexible approach, with the emphasis of the role being on team working and self-management of responsibilities. In this role you will attend regular HR and Finance team meetings, support the business with payroll queries and develop and maintain relationships with managers and colleagues around the business.

Your duties will also include:

- Taking ownership of running the monthly checklist to ensure all aspects of the payroll is completed.
- Fully reconcile and process the pension pay over.
- Calculating net payments.
- Updating the monthly checklist is in line with current audit and legislation requirements.
- Recording payroll processes such as overpayments, advances & late paperwork.
- Interface testing and amendments.

About you

We are looking for an organised team player with excellent attention to detail to join our Payroll team. You will have previous in house payroll experience and a good basic knowledge of Tax, NI, statutory payments. You will have experience calculating manual payments and you will be competent using excel, including pivots, macros and v-look ups. Finally, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels around the business.
