HR Officer

I’m currently looking for an experienced HR Officer to join this organisation on a Part -time basis (3 days per week)
This is a temporary role initially for 3-6 months.
Main duties will include:
- Working within a stand-alone HR role managing all HR functions with the support of external HR Consultant.
- Act as a conduit between the organisation and HR Consultant providing high quality support for managers in relation to HR related activities and issues.
- Assist with day to day HR administration duties
- Implementing and administrating HR policies and identifying and necessary improvements including creating suite of templates.
- Act as the point of contact for HR issues for staff and managers in line with organisational policies and procedures.
- Advise and assist employees & managers with understanding human resource policies and procedures
- Understand organisation & individual departmental needs, advise on HR issues and provide documentation to support HR decisions, staff matters, changes to contract terms, working conditions, resource planning and recruitment.
- Interpret and advise on employment law, referring to a designated consultant(s) where necessary.
- Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation, implementing anti-racism and equality based principles within all aspects of the HR policies and processes including advertising and recruitment.
- Provide management information reports such as absence data, staff lists, structure charts, recruitment profiles, etc.
- Implement a regular policy review process to ensure up to date legislation and HR developments are included.
- Work within organisational compliance frameworks including schemes of delegation, health and safety
- Payroll administration preparation & provide Payroll manager information
