**Permanent, Full Time, Sutton-in-Ashfield**

An exciting opportunity to support an experienced in-house Marketing and Graphic design team for a luxury, internationally renowned fabric and wallcovering design house.

Working within a dynamic, luxury interiors environment, this Junior Graphic Designer and Artworker role will support our in-house graphics team with the delivery of all printed and digital material for The Romo Group and its six brands.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To support the Graphics Team to design and artworking a variety of internal and customer facing marketing materials.
- Ensure that the design maintains its integrity and reaches its full potential by correcting colours, placement, fonts, and inconsistencies.
- Work closely with the Graphic Designer to ensure that all design work is in line with brand strategy and standardisation documents.
- Assist with creating internal brand decks and presentations.
- Image placement and cropping images for print and web.
- Design and artwork of marketing promotional items e.g. boxes, bags & pencils.
- Assist with creating internal brand decks and presentations.
- Locate and update archived artwork in preparation for internal reprints.
- Monitor and maintain the internal digital printer.
- Ensure all materials are ready for global consumption, inputting translations for our major markets
- Confident sending artwork to print and press passing when required
- Manage the in-house digital press.
- Self-motivated, organised individual with an eye for detail
- Ability to effectively manage deadlines and communicate successfully across teams
- An efficient worker that can respond to requests swiftly.
- Working in collaboration with colleagues and customers to seek feedback on work and implement changes where required.
- Execute quality checks including spell checking and proofreading to ensure all items are produced without any errors.
- Design and delivery of any ad hoc material required by the business.
- Collaborating with the Creative Marketing team to come up with innovative design solutions to meet the business needs
- Work in partnership with the Brand managers and Design Studios to translate their product vision into marketing materials.
- Work seamlessly across the Ecommerce & Marketing team and wider business to create campaigns and assets for commercial use and to amplify content and product launch stories.
- Work closely with the Lead Graphic Designer to ensure that all design work is in line with brand strategy.
- Act as a brand guardian to ensure creative output is consistent across all multi-channel touch points.
- Manage a number of briefs at one time, and deliver these on time, on brand while constantly looking to improve the quality.
- Collaborate with the Design studio on shoot briefs, specifying graphical requirements where necessary.
- Research new technologies, trends and opportunities.
- Executing rigorous quality checks.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation within the department.
- Carry out competitor benchmarking on best practice through attending industry events or showroom & shop visits.
- Ensure that the design maintains its integrity and reaches its full potential by correcting colours, placement, fonts, and inconsistencies.
- Ensure all materials are ready for global consumption, inputting translations for our major markets.
- Confident sending artwork to print and press passing when required.

**Required Skills**:

- Minimum of 1-2 years employment in a similar Graphics / Artworker role.
- Must have good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Experience in the Interiors industry a bonus
- Strong attention to detail and a high-level of accuracy
- Creative flair for design
- Approachable and friendly
- Confident communicator (verbal and in person)
- Highly motivated
- Methodical approach to work
- Ability to perform under pressure and to work using own initiative as well as part of a team

Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
