You will work withinthe wider architecture team to ensure the solutions are fit for purpose and appropriate alignment to the strategic roadmap is well defined, helping to deliver the change portfolio as part of the wider Architecture team. **Your responsibilities as our Senior Business Solutions Architect will include**: - Understanding the needs of the business to ensure the architectural models, frameworks and tools are correctly aligned - Influencing key stakeholders to ensure that the roadmap and models are technically capable - Designing specialist solutions in line with business needs - Bringing together suppliers and specialists to resolve complex problems in a range of environments - Defining standards and reusable approaches which have benefits across functions - Producing papers in own field of knowledge and presenting findings to mixed audiences - Identifying, designing, obtaining approval for, and subsequently developing, implementing and communicating processes/systems necessary to reflect organisation and business changes - Identifying, defining and assessing complex, abstractly defined issues/problems - Challenging existing practices and approaches, and regularly suggesting improvements to technology and new ideas - Maintaining effective stakeholder relationships within own area of responsibility to improve the overall service provided - Defining quality standards and ensuring adherence to those standards and to established processes, appropriate service standards, practices and procedures **What we are looking for in our ideal Senior Business Solutions Architect**: - Previous experience of IF/ABL systems migrations - Experience in the deployment of system interfaces between core systems - Experience in successfully managing stakeholders, projects and/or teams (approx. 3+ years) - Good documentation skills - TOGAF certification or experience There’s no place quite like BFS and we’re proud of that.
