Operations Administrator

Our client is looking for a PART TIME Operations Administrator to join their successful team on the outskirts of Alton. 26-29k pa pro rated + 10% bonus based on company sales, promotional opportunities, on-site parking and wellness programme
As a Operations Administrator you will work closely with the Operations Manager and other stakeholders to ensure the business remains compliant and stay abreast of industry changes and certification.
**As the Operations Administrator you will enjoy**:
- 26-29k pro rated pa (depending on experience)
- 7:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday (full time hours)

**As the Operations Administrator you will be responsible for**:
- The implementation of industry regulated safe operational systems and procedures
- Managing risks and risk assessment at work
- Monitoring of safe working practices to ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation
- Prepare health and safety strategies and develop internal policy
- Work closely with Maintenance to ensure equipment is installed safety, tools/equipment are calibrated/inspected Inspection and regular cleaning, and maintenance routines are adhered to
- Production and management of documents to ISO 9001 standard and proactively support the business compliance to RISQS
- Attend Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) seminars as appropriate
- Design, implementation and updating of the Company health and safety systems and procedures
- Organise and support Health and Safety meetings
- Accompany external inspectors when carrying out inspection visits on-site
**To succeed as the Operations Administrator you will need**:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Relevant qualifications
- Excellent coaching and communication skills
- Broad knowledge of production planning processes
- Strategic planning skills
- Comfortable working in a full-scale manufacturing environment
- Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting
- Confident in communicating at all levels
