At Evident we are focused on ensuring the Customer receives their goods in a timely manner and to support that we are recruiting the role of a Import/Export Coordinator. You will be responsible for ensuring that incoming and outbound shipments to and from the UK are cleared through customs and delivered to our customers, whilst guaranteeing that HMRC regulations are met. Incoming shipments will typically consist of customer orders dispatched from our central warehouse in Hamburg, Germany, or returning repairs from our Regional Repair Centre (RRC) in Prague, Czech Republic.

Outbound shipments will typically consist of customer’s products being shipped for repair to our RRC or customer returns

**Key Duties**
- To implement and work to all applicable regulatory and quality requirements as stipulated within the Evident Europe GmbH Quality Manual, Quality Policy, and Quality Objective
- To implement and work to all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental requirements as stipulated within the HSE Manual, HSE Policies, and HSE Objectives
- Always ensuring adherence to HMRC Inward Processing/Outward Processing regulations
- To provide instructions to HMRC via carriers to enable shipment to be cleared
- To maintain shipment files in order to comply with HMRC audits.
- To communicate with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure inbound shipments are delivered on time to the correct destination in close coordination with Sales Support and Customer Care Teams.
- To ensure that the documentation produced is compliant with the country of destination
- To ensure shipments are dispatched and received in a timely manner to meet the customer’s demands
- To ensure that shipments are booked with the relevant carriers
- To inform the recipients (typically customer Repairs/returns) of the dispatch to help them with their own clearance

**What skills will you hold?**
- Good knowledge of GB&I Importation/Export rules, including HMRC regulations
- Knowledge of Microsoft office programmes
- Good Administration skills

- Dangerous Goods by Air Training
- Incoterms 2010 Training

**Personal Attributes**
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise own workload
- Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willing to travel and occasionally work unsocial hours as required

This is a full time fixed term 12 month contract. Full right to work for the UK is essential.
