**Job summary**:
This role is a designated homeworking role and will entail regular travel throughout the UK, including overnight stays, to visit and review forces.

**Job description**:
**Person specification**:
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- The Design, co-ordination and delivery of POPS curriculum and national standards; and conducting supportive, Quality Assurance visits to Forces.
- Building and maintaining team liaison/partnership working with various national policing and committees to ensure the College of Policing standards in this area are met.
- Provision of POPS SME advice and guidance relating to POPS training delivery
- Represent the College of Policing at national and regional meetings where required.
- Be part of a team that works together to ensure the sharing of knowledge, learning and good practice
- Be flexible to the dynamic requirements of POPS policing
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
- To be a nationally qualified Public Order Tactical Trainer, POPS Command trainer or POPSA (Or have held this qualification).
- Be a qualified police trainer to meet the Police Sector Standard for the Training of Trainers: Training Essentials Programme (Modules 1+2+3), Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS Level 4) or NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Learning and Development or equivalent.
- Be a qualified assessor i.e. Assessing Competence in the Workplace or equivalent or have undertaken the College POPS Assessing Standard Award
- Experience of managing/delivering learning programmes which support the National Police Order Public Safety Training Curriculum.

- Ability and confidence to present and contribute to discussions, where appropriate, use simple, succinct terms to lay audiences orally and in writing.
