My North Wales based client is currently looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner on a 12-month fixed term contract basis.

Reporting to the Finance Director the post holder will manage the financial plan ensuring consistency with the business plan and ensuring that budgets are monitored and controlled appropriately via the preparation of monthly management accounts, variance analysis reports, cost projections and regular liaison with budget holders.

The Finance Business Partner will consistently look for ways to better support operational staff, improve reporting, engagement and understanding of budget holders and what the numbers mean to them.

**Duties include;**

**Financial Management**
- Development of robust and effective financial forecasting enabling management to track and deliver on their strategies
- To meet financial accounting deadlines, so that monthly management accounts can be prepared on a timely basis.

**Budgeting**
- Report to senior management in clear and concise terms, providing timely, accurate financial and management information.
- To supervise and review the preparation of monthly management accounts in accordance with the agreed timetable.
- To prepare the annual budget ensuring that all Budgets are agreed within the approved business plan.
- Support budget holders in identifying and monitoring opportunities for efficiency
- Ensure that there is a culture of accurate and regular journals, reconciliations and other financial controls to ensure accurate financial information is recorded and reported on
- To design and run management account reports

**VAT**
- To ensure that VAT is accounted for properly
- To prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Advise Senior Management of legislation changes and processes.

**Statutory Accounts**
- To assist with the preparation of the year end statutory accounts.
- To liaise with the external auditors during the audit of the accounts ensuring that they are provided with all relevant working papers and explanations.

**Financial Performance Information**
- To produce monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Performance information

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £42,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
