**The Role - Finance Apprentice**

This role is a great starting point for anyone interested in building a career in finance. As part of the Finance Team, your tasks will be varied during your contract, providing you with a comprehensive introduction to the field. You will also be able to gain valuable experience, skills and knowledge in different areas of finance within a supportive environment. Full training will be provided, including support with study to attain a recognised finance qualification i.e. AAT.

The finance team will help you learn the systems and processes involved in working in a busy finance team therefore no prior finance experience is required. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and possess the following skills:

- Good standard of education with at least 5 GCSE’s at grade C/level 4 or above including English and maths. A level standard or equivalent is desirable.
- Willingness to undertake any relevant training
- Good numeracy skills and a passion for numbers.
- Some familiarity with Excel and looking to expand their knowledge.
- Drive to learn new skills.
- Good communication skills, able to work within a team and communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Either have the ability to hold basic conversation in Welsh, **or committed to developing your** Welsh language skills (with our support)
- Flexible and conscientious approach to work, always happy to get involved and help out colleagues.
- A practical, problem-solving approach, with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude

- Temporary contract for up to 2 years.
- Minimum of 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Based in our offices at Llandudno Junction with hybrid working, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Pay: £6.40-£12.00 per hour
