Would you like a new role that allows you to help students with additional needs?

**About the role**

You will be working within this mainstream Primary School's Additionally Resourced Provision for students with an EHCP statement of Autism. You will be working on a 2-1 basis with a pair of twin boys in year 2 within the provision. Your role will involvehelping them to stay focused in lessons, engaging in sensory play, encouraging peer interactions and managing behaviour in the classroom as well as person care when needed. The ARP is a classroom within the larger school specifically for students with Autism,where they are able to get specialist support from teachers and teaching assistants with experience working with students with Autism, where they may receive 1-1 or small group interventions, be able to engage in sensory activities and receive sessions withtheir occupational and speech and language therapists.

The role will be full-time, Monday to Friday 8.30am-4pm. This role would be ideal for individuals with professional or personal experience working extensively with students with Autism. Experience using PECS and Makaton are desirable for this role.

**About the school**

This is an excellent school based in Edmonton in the London Borough of Enfield. They are a mixed mainstream primary and nursery school with an Additionally Resourced Provision for Autism. They are a happy and vibrant inclusive school where staff and studentsalike enjoy coming in each day.
