**What you will be doing**
You will join an inclusive, supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with mental illness including those diagnosed with a personality disorder. Whether you have experience as a Support Worker or Care Worker, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people lead a valued and fulfilled life.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.
You will have access to the Elysium Wellbeing team, which is on hand to keep you feeling great; be it a chat, massage or group activities. Who doesn’t like a free massage at work?

The shift patterns include working weekends,12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week.
You have the option to work fulltime Nights or Days.
**Where you will be working**
**Location**:Barnet Lane, Elstree, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, WD6 3QU
You’ll be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team at Barnet Lane Clinic, which is a 30-bed rehabilitation service for people with a mental illness including those diagnosed with a personality disorder.
You will work with individuals who may have had placement breakdowns and need intensive review and support to help them move to more independent living, with a focus on supporting people build a better quality of life for themselves and equipthem with the skills needed for community living, supportive relationships, and increased independence.
**What you will get**
- Annual salary of £23,127 (£11.05 per hour, 40.25 hours a week) rising to £24,200 after probation
