We’re looking for a people-first HR Officer/Admin to join our friendly and purpose-driven architectural studio in Manchester. This part-time role (2 days/week) is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering great HR support, managing systems like Sage HR, and contributing to meaningful work.

**Location**: Office-based in Ancoats, Manchester
**Hours**: 2 days per week
**Salary**: £30,000 - £35,000 FTE (pro-rota'd for this role)

**The Role**

We’re looking for a capable, people-focused HR Officer to support the day-to-day running of the People function. This is a generalist role with an emphasis on process, systems, and proactive support. You’ll work closely with the Director of People & Culture and the People Business Partner and play a key role in keeping our HR operations smooth, compliant, and people-friendly.

**Essential Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in an HR support or officer-level role
- Confident using Sage HR (or similar HRIS)
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
- Good understanding of UK employment law basics
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
- Clear communicator, both written and verbal
- Friendly, professional, and collaborative in approach

**Desirable (but not essential)**
- CIPD Level 3+
- Experience in a creative or professional services environment
- Awareness of employee ownership, B Corp, or purpose-led business models

**Salary & Benefits**
- £30,000 - £35,000 FTE (pro-rata for 2 days per week)
