**Treelands Care Home - Handsale Ltd**:
Situated in Oldham this purpose-built 80-bed care home offers residential and nursing care for the frail, elderly and mentally infirm, in addition to respite and convalescent care. We care for people those with Dementia, Mental Health Condition, Old Age, Physical Disability, Sensory Impairment, and Younger Adults.
**Responsibilities**
We are actively hiring for professional and experienced Clinical Lead for Treelands Nursing Home.

**Job Purpose**:(Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required).
- To oversee / maintain the care of residents within the Care Centre.
- In the absence of the Home Manager, take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Care Centre.
- To positively support the Home Manager in providing leadership to the administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance functions of the Care Centre.
- To maintain care and management skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice.
- To manage the services within the Care Centre in accordance with standards agreed with the Home Manager, Registered Provider, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and in line with accepted best practice, and within the financial plans agreed with the Registered Provider.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**

The role involves working on Floor as nurse, with the other super nummery. Work Hours: 42 hours per week. Potential Flexible Hours available with 2 shifts per week super nummary.
- To manage all aspects of the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
- To maintain excellent care and health & safety standards.
- To support the maintenance of a positive reputation for the Home in the local community.
- To support the attainment of budgeted financial performance; maximising fee levels and exercising sound cost management across the Home.
- To help build and maintain a well-motivated and engaged workforce.
- To perform direct nursing duties on a basis agreed with the Home Manager in accordance with contractual arrangements.

**Qualifications and Skills**
**Required**:

- 1st Level Nurse (Nursing Care Centre) or NVQ Level 3 in Care of the Elderly (Residential Care Centre)
- Previous management/supervisory experience
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Team player
- Genuine interest in working with the relevant Client group
- Satisfactory DBS check and check against the POVA List (where applicable)

**Desired**:

- Care for the Elderly experience / qualification
- Minimum two years management / supervisory experience
