Industria personnel are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Logistics Administrator

This is a fixed term 12 month contract directly with the client

Our client is looking for an experienced Logistics administrator who is highly organised with great communication skills. Working within the operations department which is responsible for all operational and logístical activity from production & stock availabilityto quality & delivery both domestically and overseas.

The role is key to providing a seamless pre & post sale processing and customer experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Manage sales order process from cradle to grave
- Ensure correct pricing is in place
- Check internal order request forms for all domestic and overseas orders
- Manage the reservation of sales orders, handling and communicating issues as appropriate
- Liaise with customers, external suppliers, finance, and sales team to ensure all orders are processed correctly
- Liaise with external suppliers & customers to update and agree on production lead times, delivery dates and carriage costs
- Raise purchase orders to suppliers
- Create & distribute customs documents where necessary
- Actively monitor stock levels and due dates against delivery dates
- Ensure back orders are fulfilled, allocating stock where necessary and updating order book
- Coordinate dispatch of goods with external suppliers
- Ensure orders are met on time and in full
- Answering telephone and dealing with enquiries
- Deal directly & promptly with internal/external enquiries ensuring queries are resolved or appropriately escalated
- Checking & authorisation of supplier invoices
- Provide quality service/proactive customer support
- Provide commentary during the Ops/Finance weekly meets as to the state of the order book
- Ability to work autonomously & able to prioritise workload
- Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- self-motivated
- Have effective organisation & time management skills
- Excellent communicator
- Good business sense and professional manner
- Due to rural location own transport required

Experience/qualifications/Training:
12 months experience in sage system is preferred not essential

Computer literate and able to work with Microsoft office/words/excel

6 Months experience in a similar position would be an advantage but not essential

On the job training will be provided

**Salary**: 23K

Working hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
