Pathology Quality Support Officer

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the NWLP Quality team as a Band 4 Pathology Quality Support Officer. You will be responsible for the administration of the incident management and Quality Management systems within NWLP, which will involve the reporting and following up of incidents, Qpulse management and carrying out audits of the quality management system across all sites and disciplines. This post will also require your involvement with any administrative tasks required by the quality team including minute taking. Previous experience in quality is not required for these posts as full training will be given. We are a multisite organisation and you will work on a two weekly rota covering all 6 sites across NWLP.
- To deliver high quality support providing effective, confidential, administrative support on a day to day basis to the Pathology Quality Team.
- To deputise for the Senior Pathology Quality Support Officer as necessary
- To monitor Pathology-related incidents reported on Trust incident reporting systems
- To review the laboratory department conformance with ISO15189 and other accreditation & regulatory requirements
- Assist in the implementation of Trust, Directorate and Departmental Targets.
