Are you looking for a role where no day is quite the same? We are looking for a Bookings Coordinator to join our supportive and friendly Trust Bank team based at our Trust Headquarters at Sentinel House, Poole.

Our Booking Coordinators work with a variety of systems including Bank Staff and Eroster as well as directly liaising with our wards, departments and bank workers to ensure safe staffing requirements are met directly. As a booking coordinator you will be involved with a range of admin tasks as well as communicating with external agency providers so clear and confident communication is essential.

Previous experience in a fast-moving admin environment would be beneficial however full training is provided, and ongoing support is available as you will be working as part of a team with shared responsibilities.

The Booking coordinator post is a full-time post, we could be flexible and part time would also be considered with a minimum of 22.5 hours. Trust Bank provides a service 7 days per week, shifts are listed as below, working on a rota basis.

Monday to Friday

08:00 - 16:00

09:00 - 17:00

11:00 - 19:00

Weekend and Public Holidays (Enhanced Pay)

09:00 - 15:00

To deal efficiently with telephone calls, record incoming messages and relay to staff.

To liaise with ward managers and staff on requirements for temporary staffing, in sometimes difficult situations where tact or skills of persuasion are required

To foster good relationships and remain in active contact with all Bank workers, ensuring they feel valued, and have maximum opportunities to work within shifts available which match their skills and experience.

To act as a point of contact for all Bank workers to resolve any queries or issues, escalating matters to the Trust Bank Team Leader as necessary

As part of the team, to work towards achievements of clear set Trust goals and objectives, particularly regarding fill rates for bank and agency staff.
